Tweddle teaming up with the Salvation Army to help fight hunger in our community!

Tweddle is teaming up with the Salvation Army to help feed those in need right in our community. We will be organizing 5 separate events for Tweddle employees to get involved with.

The first event will take place on Tuesday October 9th, 2012. We will be preparing and serving feed from 9:00 AM - 1:00PM at Mt. Clemens Citadel. Additional events will take place on 10/25, 10/29, 10/30 and 11/29.

 The Salvation Army has more than 40 centers of service in metropolitan Detroit. They actively collaborate with other social service agencies to ensure they meet the full range of needs. The Mt. Clemens Citadel is on of those locations in our area.

In 2010, The Salvation Army was involved in providing the needy of Metro Detroit (Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties) with:
                               - 3,194,802 meals or 8,753 meals per day
                               - 687,023 nights of shelter or 1,882 people sheltered each night

Tweddle group donates $2,500 to Habitat for Humanity

Tweddle Group's COO Brian Suszek presented a $2,500 check to Habitat for Humanity. Accompanying Brian are the many Tweddle volunteers who participated in the Habitat project that took place in July. We look forward to working with Habitat for Humanity again soon!

Habitat for Humanity - Re-cap

We had a great turnout for Habitat for Humanity with a total of 17 volunteers! 
Everyone did a great job in preparing the new home for such a wonderful family! The Habitat for Humanity staff as well as the family we were helping were extremely pleased with our work.
We can't wait to do it again!
